Projects + Cooperations
Imparting Experiential Knowledge and Competence to Act
Retreats, workshops and excursions open up the possibility of finding a spirituality in line with creation in contact with nature, plants and animals. They impart experiential knowledge and competence for action. To this end, the ITZ works together with various partners: The cooperation with Haus Mariengrund, the Musella Foundation and the Kiepenkerl Pharmacy are presented in more detail below.
Other partners and places of experience are the Kapuziner Klostergarten Münster, the Allwetterzoo Münster, the Botanical Garden Münster, the Freckenhoster Werkstätten and, last but not least, the clay village Steinfurt, also a NABU station. The ITZ has also been working with municipalities for many years. The ITZ has a long-standing cooperation with the Heilig Kreuz Gemeinde Münster.

Haus Mariengrund + ITZ
It is a real stroke of luck that the ITZ has found a home at Haus Mariengrund in Münster-Gievenbeck since 2017. The educational, conference and guest house is located on the outskirts of the city and has a site of about 1 hectare with many possibilities.
The add-ons of the ITZ for the guests of the house and other interested people have been highlights of the close cooperation since 2020.
Musella Foundation + ITZ
The ITZ and the Musella Foundation for a Social-Ecological Future, Freiburg, share common goals. We are therefore very grateful to have won the Musella Foundation as a partner and sponsor for the ITZ. A first joint project at the ITZ site, on the grounds of Haus Mariengrund in Münster, is the impulse path "A path to biodiversity" together with a cooperating beekeeper as well as with the neighbouring child day care centre and other partners.
Celebration of the Earth. An initiative + ITZ
Since 2018, Erdfest. An Initiative and the ITZ have been connected. In times of species extinction, the Erdfest-Inititiave proposes to remind us in many places at the same time how liveliness can be regained. A common aim to achieve sustainable development and the protection of biodiversity.
Kiepenkerl Pharmacy + ITZ
The ITZ and Haus Mariengrund are pleased about the cooperation with the Kiepenkerl Pharmacy Münster, which has planted a public medicinal herb garden at Haus Mariengrund.
